A Journey Begins

I’ve recently published my first personal storybook and I can honestly admit that it came back more beautiful than I could have ever imagined! I chose to do an 8×8 book about myself for couple of reasons. Reason 1: the need to create an 8×8 sample featuring a familiar face. That is, when I go into the homes of friends and family, or when I show others my storybook while out in public, my “audience” would be able to relate better to the product. It’s one thing seeing a beautifully crafted masterpiece, but actually knowing the person about which that masterpiece was constructed allows a greater impact. Reason 2: I wanted to do something for ME for a change. . .even though I’m pretty sure my daughter, Abby, would want to steal the book away from me sometime soon. The 8×8 storybook comes standard with 21 pages (additional pages are available at a small cost) and is fully customizable! I tend to create my own graphics as I go, but I have access to a number of ready-made storybook templates as well; Just add your photos and words and your storybook is complete in NO time!

The biggest surprise: I received the book from the publisher in 8 days! I thought surely it would have taken longer than that! Simply FANTASTIC!

My second storybook creation was also an 8×8: an ABC book for my daughter Abby. I created this book using a ready-made template designed by a fellow consultant, Jenita Varela. The book is adorable!!! Jenita has a wonderful talent for creating books and templates and I’m ever so grateful that she shares her talent with us all. I have yet to publish this book, but I intend to do so in time to have it back for the holidays.
